- We would never agree to sell anyone an animal or invite anyone to our home until after we have had a verbal conversation with them first. - Although we have been raising hedgehogs for more than 25 years, we are not a pet store and we do not sell pet supplies. Most of the pet hedgehogs offered for sale on this site are home raised by us but occasionally if we have the space and time, we foster animals until a permanent home can be found. The animals we are fostering are posted on this page and offered at a reasonable price. All foster animals can be identified by an * following their WEB PIC I.D. #.
- We get a lot of requests for pictures but we do not send individual pictures! Instead to be fair to everyone and to save ourselves time, we add and update the pictures on our website often.
- Location for pick up or viewing is at our home in Niagara Falls, Ontario only. (we will not meet halfway) Visits are by appointment/invitation and for safety reasons, our address is not posted on our website. It will be given if/when we schedule an appointemt.
- Our babies wean naturally. We do not believe in early weaning and any unweaned animal is not available for viewing.
- Every animal leaves our home with a written health guarantee and some food that it is used to eating. As a precaution, they are dewormed & 'Revolution' (a topical 30-day Flea/Mite preventative treatment) is given prior to them leaving.
- After a pet leaves our home, should you change your mind, the animal can not be returned for a refund. This is done to prevent unnecessary health risks to our other pets.
- We require a minimum of 25 % non-refundable deposit to reserve any pet.
- Home visits are time consuming, and they can get costly for us. We usually need to rearrange our schedule and then take time to prepare for each visit. We certainly do not have the time to entertain people who simply want to visit and play with our animals. And now because of the number of no-shows, unless you have already sent a deposit to reserve a particular pet, we require a $25.00 non-refundable reservation fee to book appointments. Although this small fee is non-fundable, it will be deducted from the purchase price of the pet that you choose.
